Nanny Job in Courtenay, British Columbia

My family in Courtenay, British Columbia is looking for a responsible, reliable, and fun nanny to care for our single kiddo C (23 months). This is a part-time, live out position, and we'd also hope to be able to request you for evenings/special events on occasion. Light meal prep and light housekeeping. Upfront- we are an LGBTQIA2S family and if that bothers you please move on now :) We live on the second floor (walk up sorry) and have 2 cats. We are fully vaccinated. I have somewhat flexible hours so can accommodate schedules and/or other commitments. I'm happy to work together to create a workable schedule. We're looking for someone with availability 2-3 days a week (M-F) between 8-5pm but not necessarily for the whole span - we'd be aiming for more like 9-4 or 10-5. This can be finalized at hire - the schedule would be set so you can plan/live your life, but we're not set on particular days/hours at the moment. As our nanny, we expect you to help keep our babe safe and happy. We're transplants from Alberta and both recently went back to work ouside the home so this is a huge transit for everyone! We emphasize outdoor play, communication, feelings, and creativity. We practice gentle parenting and kindness to others, and respect for the environment. Proof of certification in CPR and First Aid will be required on hire. If you are interested in this position, please contact us.
