Nanny Job in Antigonish, Nova Scotia

We are seeking a compassionate and responsible Babysitter/Nanny to provide high-quality care for our 9 month old daughter and afterschool care for our 4-1/2 year old son starting in April. It will be 8-5 Monday-Wednesday with the odd Thursday and/or Friday. The ideal candidate will have experience working with children and be committed to creating a safe, engaging, and educational atmosphere. Duties: - Supervise and engage with children in various activities, including playtime, educational games, and outings. - Prepare nutritious meals and snacks while accommodating any dietary restrictions or preferences. - Maintain a clean and organized space for the children, including tidying up after meals and activities. - Communicate effectively with parents regarding children's daily activities, progress, and any concerns. - Foster a positive relationship with the children by being attentive to their needs and interests. Qualifications: - Previous experience in childcare or as a nanny is preferred. - Ability to clean and maintain an organized living space conducive to children's activities. -Excellent communication skills to interact positively with both children and parents. - A nurturing attitude towards educating and engaging children in fun learning experiences. - Must be reliable, punctual, and possess a strong sense of responsibility.
