Nanny Job in Bracebridge, Ontario

About my family: We are a family of four (myself, my husband, two kids age 4 1/2 & almost 3), plus a super cute & friendly cat. What we're looking for: Ideally, we would love to find a housekeeper/nanny whose job is roughly about 60:40 (that will vary day to day and season to season). Job Location: In Bracebridge, about a 10 minute drive from downtown Bracebridge. Duties: (Nanny portion 95% of the time just the 3 year old) ensuring child safety & well being, keeping on schedule (snacks, lunch, nap), playing, sitting, walking, cuddling, diaper changing, potty training, make believe play, walking to nearby playground, painting, drawing, watching shows. Duties: (Housekeeping portion) Laundry (gathering, sorting, washing, drying, folding, putting away), floors (sweep, vacuum, mop), wiping countertops, keeping washrooms clean, making beds, empty & load dishwashers, put out garbage & recycling, organizing, occasional deep cleaning wherever required, light gardening/caring for plants, feeding cat and cleaning cat litter, fulfilling daily/weekly/monthly/seasonal cleaning & maintenance ie. change filters, clean fridge vents, etc. Successful candidates must be reliable, punctual, be a non-smoker and highly organized. Helpful for first aid & CPR. Skills required: experience with kids, ability to prepare meals and snacks for toddler, caregiving skills including patience & compassion, knowledge of age appropriate activities, ability to maintain a clean and organized environment, excellent communication skills to effectively interact with both us and the kids.
