Nanny Job in Orono, Ontario

About our children: Two girls, 16 months apart. Oldest is 2y5m old, youngest is 11m old. Oldest is on the autism spectrum; we have some communication struggles that we are working with therapists for, overall she is high functioning, joyful, and chill. Youngest is energetic, exploratory and chatty. About the role: Looking for someone who can come to our home to assist Mom. It has become increasingly difficult for one adult to tend to the needs of both girls at the same time, would be great to have an extra set of hands and eyes. Dad's schedule fluctuates between mornings, evenings and weekends, so we are looking for someone flexible who may be able to assist some mornings (7am to 9:30am), some weekday evenings (5pm to 8pm) and some weekends (anywhere between 7am to 8pm, depending on Dad's schedule.) If you are looking for more hours, we can look at your weekday availability as well. Our goal is to find someone who can keep babies entertained and play a fun role. No housekeeping would be required other than light tidying of the children's toys. Note: We are in Orono, off of Taunton Rd. Dealbreakers: - Must have own transportation (LOB 1M0 is postal code for reference) - Must be ok with dogs (an older medium sized dog lives in the home) - Must enjoy spending time outdoors Rate will be determined based on experience and availability.
