Nanny Job in Parksville, British Columbia
Our family is looking for a playful, engaging and gentle caregiver in our home for our young son. This is a full time opportunity with hours still to be determined (8 hours a day) with the position to start at the beginning of February 2022. We are located in Parksville, BC. We are a very relaxed household and have the following requirements: • Non Smoker (can’t even have smoke on clothes - reason explained below) • No perfumes or scented lotions • Pet friendly (we have 2 cats and a dog in the home) • Must have reliable transportation • Must have infant first aid/CPR (can pay for course if needed) • Must be willing to complete criminal record check • Must be willing to provide employer or personal references Duties will include: • Feeding formula and preparing appropriate solid foods (no known allergies) • Maintenance of Baby Brezza machine • Playtime • Putting down for naps • Going for walks • Tidying up after yourself (toys, meal prep etc) • Light housekeeping including sweeping/vacuuming after yourself, loading the dishwasher, and taking out garbage/diaper pail if filled • Maintaining our son’s skincare routine, he suffers from eczema (hence the no smoke and no fragrances) and requires cream applications a few times a day with diaper changes and cleanings (after mealtime etc) Perks: • Unlimited use of food, coffee etc • Internet access & streaming services for down time • Expenses reimbursed • Overtime pay if required Pay: • Offering minimum of $125 per day with higher wages available based on experience Please email me directly at [email protected] with your resume and a brief description of yourself and your experience.
