Nanny Job in Lacombe, Alberta

Job Overview: Nice to meet you! My name is Charity. I'm looking to hire a nanny living in Lacombe, Alberta for Monday Dec 5th if possible. I'm aiming to hire a healthy, positive, motivated, caring, organized person who will provide our children with a healthy, happy, safe environment. Duties: Our family requires before and after school care for our 2 oldest children and daily care of our 2 year old daughter & 5 year old son as well (when they aren’t in daycare & Kindergarten 3 days a week). It is necessary that you are comfortable working with sick children as my kids have already missed a lot of school, so please expect to have any or all of them home at random. When all of the kids are healthy and able to go to their scheduled lives there will be 3 days a week from 9-4 that you will have no kids in the house to focus on the other responsibilities mentioned. I am looking for someone with a lot of experience with children that can have fun with them but also help them learn to be kind, helpful and independent. We are looking for someone that is willing to do light house keeping (mainly clean up with/after the kids and yourself), children’s laundry, and willing to cook meals. My kids can also be helpful when delegated too, that is one of the things I would love for them to continue to improve on. Notes On Availability: We need someone that can work from 6AM-6PM Monday- Friday without fail and maybe the odd Saturday. We expect you to come even if you’re somewhat sick (but not laid out sick). We are really looking for someone committed to showing up without fail. There will be close to a 2 week break over Christmas as my husband and I have days off. This is only a 2-4 month job at this point so please keep that in mind as well. But could have the possibility to become more long term if things are working well at home.
