Job Details: As a nanny for our 2 children (age 4 & 1.5) your main responsibility will be to provide a safe, nurturing, and stimulating environment for the child. You will work closely with both parents to ensure the well-being and development of the children. This role requires patience, adaptability, and a genuine love for kids. Your main focus will be our children! You will not be responsible for household cleaning, chores, etc. Responsibilities: Childcare and safety: Create a safe/secure environment. Monitor the children safety at all times. Handle feeding, diaper changes, dressing, naps, educational activities. Administer any necessary medications under parental guidance. Follow health and safety guidelines, including proper hygiene practices. Assisting parents with children extra-curricular activities. Communication & Collaboration: Maintain open and regular communication with the parents to understand their expectations and preferences. Provide update on the children's activities, behavior, and developmental milestones. Collaborate with the parents on any changes or adjustments to the children's routine or care. Development and Stimulation: Engage in age-appropriate play and activities to stimulate the children's development. Read books, sing songs, and engage in creative and educational activities. Foster language and social skills development through interaction and conversation. Engage children in physical activity such as outdoor play (gardening), hockey, golf, basketball, soccer, etc. Household duties: Maintain cleanliness and organization in common areas used by the children. Requirements: Previous experience working as a nanny or childcare role such as a daycare, preferably with toddlers and children. Knowledge of baby care, including feeding, diapering, sleep routines. Familiarity with safety protocols for children and ability to handle emergencies calmly. Ability to engage in age-appropriate play and activities to support the children's development. Excellent communication skills and the ability to collaborate effectively with parents. Patience, compassion, and a genuine love for children. Reliable and punctual with a strong work ethic. Ability to adapt changing schedules and needs. CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain it). The employer will cover these costs. Clear background check and references.
