Nanny Job in Carleton Place, Ontario

Overview: Hello my name is Debbie. I'm looking for a childcare provider to provide childcare in my home in Carleton Place, Ontario. I'm in need of a trustworthy, accountable person who will provide safe and caring childcare during hours that match my shiftwork hours (please note --- NO overnight shifts). Services and Training: The primary responsibility will be to provide childcare to my 12 yr old child who is very healthy, does well in school and does not have any "special needs". My child is active and loves to spend time outside. Encouraging the completion of homework and ensuring bedtimes are met will be part of the responsibilities. Having your driver's license and your own vehicle is necessary as I will require assistance with taking my child to and from the usual childhood activities (ie, swimming lessons, soccer, etc.). My family also requires help with light housekeeping and meal preparation. First Aid certification would be wonderful, but it is not necessary to apply. Additional Information: My work is shiftwork so varying days of the week and varying hours will be necessary. (No overnight shifts, though.) I'm looking for someone to start work in April 2024.
