Hi my name is Mika my husband is Ravi! We are a family of 5 living in South Surrey, British Columbia, Canada. We have 3 wonderful children ages 12, 11 and 2! We also have two large dogs named Luke and Lola. They are like our children as well:) Are you comfortable with dogs? My husband and I homeschool our two older children. We own and run two companies from home so we are always home during the day. Our kids are very smart and involved in our businesses daily. We are a vegan family and only cook vegan meals. We make all of our meals from scratch as often as we can. You will learn lots about cooking in our home:) Our oldest is very involved in making meals for the family and loves to bake as well! Who are we looking for? Someone who is family oriented! We want you to feel like you are at home with us. We are looking for someone with a growth mindset. Do you love kids and the idea of becoming a role model and setting a good example for young minds? Yes? Then we would like to meet you! List of skills: - Someone who like kids! Do you like conversation and playing games? - Someone active to keep up with our older kids. (sports, bike riding, hiking) - Light Housekeeping (dishes, vacuuming, keeping toys tidy) - Meal Prepping (vegan meals) - Would have ability to travel with us - Looking for someone long-term (our companies will only get busier, our kids are a big part of this too) Our lifestyle and the lessons we teach our kids is important so we want someone who can adjust to our parenting style. For example:, our TV gets turned on maybe once or twice a week. Our kids don't get much screen time at all except school lessons on their laptops. Our kids do not use cell phones at all and we don't like cell phones around our toddler. He will watch some family videos on our phone but as much as possible we don't use our phones in front of him (with our work that's harder to do sometimes), we teach a positive mindset in our home and are focused on keeping the energy of our home positive, we are strict on our kids also with their school/business work, their upkeep of the home and their responsibilities and teaching them life lessons. We have a flexible daily schedule but like to keep the kids in a routine for school :) Our companies are a lot of fun for the kids to be involved in. Our main company CRU is a social media app for car enthusiasts. We have two race cars and often spend weekends at car shows or the racetrack. You would need to be ok with coming on some drives and to events with us. We travel often for work. To car shows, on car rallies or other events that are similar. We make sure our kids are involved as much as possible. When we aren't working we like to go for walks, go to the gym, visit family, take trips to Kelowna BC or to Vancouver BC to do some fun activities. Thank you for taking the time to read this.
