Nanny Job in Nepean, Ontario

Hello, we are a professional family with two children, aged 7 years (girl) and 2.5 years (boy). We require a very special, patient, loving individual to work with our family in providing childcare for our beautiful kids. Our toddler has autism and is receiving therapies (speech, occupational therapy, etc) and needs a caregiver who is understanding and interested in working with him to learn the social skills he needs to thrive. Ability to drive him to therapies would be a big plus! Our older child is in school full time during the day, but home in the afternoons. She loves to read, play games and make crafts. We are open to a flexible arragement, from full time to part time hours. The right candidate will have education or experience working with autistic/special needs children OR a great willingness to learn! Other duties include: -helping older child with schoolwork (and on/off bus during the school year), crafts, reading and playing outside -light housekeeping/meal prep for children -some tasks in helping care for a friendly adult dog CPR and police check mandatory. Own reliable transportation is a must.
