Nanny Job in Vancouver, British Columbia

ABOUT US: We’re a family of 3 (plus a dog) who moved to Vancouver a year ago from the states. Our baby was born in November 2022 and while mom is on parental leave for the year, we’re finding we could still use some extra help. We live downtown in Yaletown. We would love to find a nanny who will take our son (and potentially dog) on walks to experience the city and assist in fostering his development. Ideally this nanny would stay with us through the summer and potentially become full-time once mom goes back to work in October. PAY: $20-$24/hr depending on experience IDEAL HOURS: Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday: 8am - 2pm (earlier would be preferable but we know that can be tough) Saturday: 5pm - 9pm Every 3rd Friday of the month: 6pm - 11pm Maybe a couple of additional evenings a month with advance notice, depending on availability START DATE: Ideal start date ASAP and we’re hoping for a nanny who can commit through to the end of September, but with the potential to extend full-time for a year if it’s a good fit. We would love to do maybe a week or two of trying things out before committing fully. QUALIFICATIONS: Legal to work in Canada CPR/First Aid Certificate ECE Certification Proof of Covid Vaccination RESPONSIBILITIES: Light Housekeeping - baby’s laundry, occasional sweep/vacuum Occasional grocery shopping Feed & play with baby during awake time Maintain nap schedule Walks / outside time with baby & ideally dog too HOW TO APPLY: Please include an introduction, a resume if you have one, any references, and why you feel you’re a good fit.
