Nanny Job in Halifax, Nova Scotia

Hi - we're a family of 4 looking for our next part time nanny. We’ve had our current nanny for over 5 years and she is leaving us at the end of May to become a doctor overseas. We will miss her dearly as she has been fully integrated into our family and also supported us during the pandemic. We have two daughters, 8 and 5 years old. We're looking for someone who is fantastic with kids! Schedule during the week supports my work day, so it would be around 4p-7p and you’d support dinner for our daughters and meal prep for my husband and I. We’d also be looking for support Friday later in the evening some weeks (as it can be date night sometimes) and 5 hours on Sunday (this is flexible if you need the day). We’d be looking for support with errands, laundry, dishes and a few housekeeping items (I have a cleaner that supports the home), school reading and homework, and meals. In the summer, we have the girls in camps, but in August live in Chester, our Nanny normally would drive down to Chester in the AM to support the days the girls didn’t have camp or programming or I wasn’t on vacation. Sometimes she slept there if it made sense (we pay for the gas). Then it’s back to regular scheduled programming in September :) Hope to hear from you!
