Nanny Job in De Winton, Alberta

Hi there! We are David and Sara, a young family (teacher and nurse) living in South Calgary (moving to Bridlewood in late December - but currently in Legacy). We are looking for a nanny to help us with our two children aged 2 and aged 4. Our 4 year old is mild/moderately autistic and requires some additional support, and you'll be helping in some targetted goals around separation anxiety, independence, and self-confidence. Experience with autism is an asset, but a willingness to learn is most important. This is a great opportunity to get some experience working with a special needs young person and is well suited (but not limited to) someone who is a student, retired, etc. The role is part-time and live out. We are willing to pay $25-29 hourly, negotiable based on experience. We are looking for approximately 6-10 hours per week of support - our children attend school during the weekdays. We are happy to work with you on scheduling, but our preference would be a few hours on a weekend, and a few hours on a weekday evening. We may have occasional one-offs, but there would be consistent core hours that we can arrange with you. We are looking for someone with experience and an interest of looking after little ones, is punctual, reliable, hardworking and has an up-to-date criminal background check. We also require that the nanny is comfortable with housekeeping duties such as cleaning, laundry, and simple food preparation.
