Nanny Job in Kitchener, Ontario

Hi! We’re a family of 3 in Kitchener looking for a warm, reliable nanny to spend time with our curious and social 8mo old baby this summer. This is a flexible, part-time, live-out position for 2–3 days per week, depending on your availability. We’re open to different arrangements, such as 1 full day plus 1 half day, or 3 half days. We're happy to work with you. We’re initially looking for help through the summer, with the possibility of continuing into the fall and beyond if it’s a great fit for everyone. Most of the role is spending engaged, 1:1 time with baby. Playing, reading, going for walks, supporting naps and bottles, and helping him safely explore as he becomes more mobile. When time allows, we’d also appreciate help with occasional light household tasks, such as a kitchen tidy-up, laundry, baby-related clean-up or simple meal prep for baby. We wouldn’t expect all of these tasks during every shift, and baby’s care and engagement would always come first. We’d love someone who is patient, dependable, communicative and genuinely enjoys babies. Infant experience and current CPR/First Aid are strongly preferred. A driver’s licence is an asset. One or both parents may be home during some shifts, but we’ll respect your space and allow you to build your own comfortable relationship with baby.
