Nanny Job in Kingsville, Ontario

We are a family living in a very rural area of Kingsville, Ontario looking for an experienced and qualified childcare provider to join our family. The ideal candidate will love children and have at least 5 years experience caring for a toddler (2years old) and primary school-aged children (aged 7&10) , preferably in a regulated daycare setting. The qualified person will have the following: Be registered and in good standing with the Ontario college of early childhood educators. Have a current police clearance - with vulnerable sector clearance Drivers license, auto insurance for employment purposes and clean drivers abstract. Candidate must maintain current CPR and first aid for duration of employment. Must know how to swim This position is for part-time live-out care. Responsibilities include planning developmentally appropriate activities (crafts, games etc.) nutritious meal preparation, pet care of large dog (well trained, 100 lb German shepherd) Candidate must have flexible availability. Shifts will be one weekend with 8.5 hour shifts (Saturday &Sunday) approx every three weeks or so and will include 5 days of afternoon shifts during the fall or winter months (approx once every six weeks). Start time for afternoon shifts will be 2,3 or 4pm. Must commit to being available for these shifts. Exact shift dates and times will be provided one month in advance.
