Location: Edmonton, Alberta Salary: $20.00 per hour Hours: 30 hours per week Terms of Employment: Permanent Language: English Accommodation: Live-in or live-out arrangement available Work Setting: Employer's private residence Schedule: 30 hours per week guaranteed. Work schedule may vary based on family needs. Daytime and evening shifts may be required. Some Saturday work may be required. Advance notice of schedule changes will be provided whenever possible. We are seeking a caring, dependable, and responsible Home Child Care Provider to assist with the care and supervision of two young children in a private family home. Duties and Responsibilities: • Supervise and care for children in the employer's residence • Prepare and serve nutritious meals and snacks for children • Assist children with bathing, dressing, and personal hygiene • Maintain a safe, healthy, and nurturing environment • Organize and participate in age-appropriate educational and recreational activities • Accompany children to appointments, outdoor activities, and community programs as required • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development • Tend to the emotional well-being of children • Maintain daily routines including meals, naps, and playtime • Perform light housekeeping duties related to child care, including children's laundry, meal clean-up, organizing toys, and maintaining children's rooms and play areas Requirements: • Secondary school completion • Previous experience caring for children in a private home, daycare, preschool, or similar setting is required • First Aid and CPR certification is an asset • Ability to work independently and responsibly • Criminal record check may be required • References verifying childcare experience are required Employment is available on a live-in or live-out basis.
