Nanny Job in Calgary, Alberta

Job Description: We are seeking an organized, tidy, and proactive person (could be a university student!) to act as a Household Manager and Mother's Helper to help keep our home running smoothly. This is a short-shift position requiring 2-3 hours of help per day, making it perfect for someone who already resides in SW Calgary or commutes along the main transit lines. Key Responsibilities: - Childcare Logistics: Assisting with either morning school drop-off or afternoon pick-up (depending entirely on your daily schedule). One Kindergarten aged boy (4.5 years), and one preschool aged daughter (2.5 years). - Light Meal Prep: Helping prepare simple ingredients, packed lunches, or light snacks for the family. - Household Management & Tidying: Keeping common areas organized, managing the dishwasher, wiping down counters, and taking light initiative to maintain household order. Qualifications: - Must be exceptionally organized, clean, and detail-oriented. - Ideally lives in SW Calgary or has a seamless transit commute to the Elboya neighborhood. - Prior experience in babysitting, childcare, or home management is an asset. - A valid driver’s license and a clean driving record are preferred if assisting with vehicle drop-offs/pick-ups. - A clear Police Information Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening will be required prior to starting. Timing and Schedule: - target start date is as soon as possible - will be conducting interviews over next few weeks and will require an in-person introduction to children if it seems like a g good fit - 2-3 hours per day, Monday through Friday.
