Nanny Job in Vancouver, British Columbia

Single Mum with two kids. Seeking a responsible and caring part-time nanny experienced and confident with neurodiverse children. The ideal candidate will be someone who is passionate about creating a safe and nurturing environment for the children, with experience and patience to navigate the challenges of neurodiversity while also helping with fun activities /outings, housekeeping and meal preparation. We hope to find someone who can be an extension of our family. - Start date: - As soon as possible - Desired hours 2 weekdays afterschool Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursdays 3-7pm (sometimes til later) Saturdays and/or Sundays 5 hours flexible sometimes overnight. - Must haves: - Experience working with neurodiverse children. - English as a first language - Drivers license preferred but not necessary activity/school drop offs/pick ups) - Optional but very helpful: - Have your own car - Enjoys baking, cooking, sewing - Responsibilities include: - Light housework - Preparing children’s food - Playing with the children - Communicating with mum about the kids - Children are: - Sweet, cuddly, high energy 6 year old boy who loves lego - Smart, witty neurodiverse 10 year old girl who loves Japanese culture
