Nanny Job in North York, Ontario

Long-Term Live-Out Nanny Needed – Starting August / September 2025 Location: Bathurst/ Dufferin and Steeles (North York/Thornhill border) We are a loving, kind and fun family looking for a warm, caring, reliable and experienced nanny to care for our ex-premature son who will be 9 months old (corrected) at start of position. We also have a wonderful 9 year old son and supportive / involved extended family. Details: • Schedule: 3–5 days per week (flexible part-time / full-time hours) - Longer days MWF while I am away at work (e.g. 830 am-630 pm). - If full-time hours desired, request help with light housekeeping and meal prep so that I can spend time with baby when I am not at work on Tuesdays and Thursdays. • Start Date: August / September 2025 • Experience: Must have experience caring for infants (references needed upon request) • Infection control: Due to our son being born prematurely, we are extremely careful with infection control and hand hygiene to limit risk to him. Other Requirements: • Legally allowed to work in Canada • Strong English communication skills Qualifications: • Valid PRC (Police Reference Check) • First Aid/CPR certification (if not done, parents will cover cost prior to start of position) • Interest / training / experience in early childhood education / development is an asset to ensure our premie catches up! We are looking for a nanny able to provide enriching and developmentally supportive care. • Prior experience in food aversions / picky eaters may be an asset as this is a risk with premature babies learning to eat. • Valid driver’s license is not needed but would be an asset for possible future school pickup using our personal vehicle.
