Nanny Job in East Gwillimbury, Ontario

Job Title: Nanny Location: East York, North York or Newmarket Schedule: 25 hrs/week Monday-Friday Duration: 3 years (incentive bonus for finishing the term) Start Date: July 2, 2025 Compensation: $25-28/hour, dependent on experience Job Overview: We are looking for a nanny who is interested and passionate about meeting the needs of our one-year-old girl in our home while we are working. The ideal candidate should be passionate about engaging with our child, have a knowledge of child development, and provide a nurturing and stimulating environment. He or she would be trustworthy, experienced, and creative. We want to trust that this person wants the best for our child and hope that they come to feel like part of our extended family. Responsibilities: -Provide a loving, and stimulating environment. -Follow a structured daily routine, including meals, naps, and activities. -Ensure the baby’s safety at all times. -Engage in creative and educational play to support the baby's cognitive and motor skills development. -Maintain open communication with parents regarding the baby's development and needs. -Assist with light household tasks related to the baby (e.g., cleaning toys, baby laundry, meal prep). Qualifications & Requirements: -Minimum 2 years of experience caring for infants/toddlers. -CPR and First Aid certification (or willingness to obtain). -Excellent references from previous families or employers. -Reliable, responsible, and committed to weekly hours and full term. -Non-smoker and legally authorized to work in Canada. -Preferably a license, degree or certification in Early Childhood Education, Child Development, or a related field is preferred.
