Morning Family Helper / Mother’s Helper – Mississauga We are looking for a warm, reliable and proactive person to join us in managing our family’s weekday morning routine. Schedule: 6:00 a.m. – 9:00 a.m. 3–4 weekdays per week Approximately 9–12 hours per week Both parents will be home and actively involved in getting the children ready. We are not looking for someone to manage the morning routine alone — we simply need an extra pair of capable hands so we can divide the tasks, keep mornings running smoothly and get everyone out the door on time. Typical morning responsibilities may include: * Preparing and serving breakfast * Preparing/packing children’s lunches and snacks * Helping children get dressed and ready * Packing and organizing school/daycare bags * Helping with shoes, coats and other final preparations * Tidying the kitchen and breakfast area * Helping with other child-related tasks as needed during the morning routine Parents will handle all school and daycare drop-offs. No driving of the children is required. We are looking for someone who is: * Very dependable and punctual, particularly for the 6:00 a.m. start * Warm, patient and comfortable around young children * Organized and able to see what needs doing and take initiative * Comfortable working alongside parents as part of a team * Happy to help wherever needed during a busy family morning * Interested in a consistent, long-term part-time position Previous childcare/family-helper experience and references are preferred. First Aid/CPR and a recent Vulnerable Sector Check would be an asset. Our goal is simply to make our mornings calmer and more manageable by having another dependable person working alongside us.
