📣 Childcare Support Needed – Don Mills Family We’re a family in the Don Mills area looking for a warm, engaging, and responsible caregiver for our friendly and energetic 9-year-old child (Female, Grade 4), who is high-functioning and on the Autism Spectrum. 🕒 Hours: After-school or after Camp care needed from 3 PM to 6–7 PM on several weekday evenings, along with some weekend evenings or afternoons. Very occasional Overnights for special occasions. 🎓 Ideal for: An Early Childhood Educator, ECE student, or a responsible University/College student looking for meaningful part-time work. 💡 Role Includes: • Preparing snacks, occasional simple meals • Tidy up after meals - dishes in dishwasher, wipe counters, food away (very easy, simple housekeeping maintenance tasks) • Spending quality, interactive time with our child • Activities like crafts, video games, outings (movies, local shops, park – expenses covered) • Providing high engagement and supervision in a nurturing environment 💰 Pay: $23/hour plus mileage and activities/meals if applicable 🚗 Drivers Licence / car is a bonus (for occasional after-school lessons or community events – mileage reimbursed), but not required. We also have a car for your use if needed. Please note - 🐱 Indoor cat in the home, she is friendly. We’re hoping to find someone local to the Don Mills area, but are open to discussing further.
