Nanny Job in Calgary, Alberta

Hello, We are the Donnelly family based in Calgary, Alberta, and we are in search of a dedicated nanny to join our household. Our ideal candidate will primarily care for our infant and assist with primary school-aged children. This is a live-out, part-time position. Responsibilities include maintaining a safe and nurturing environment for our children. Housekeeping duties, meal preparation, (and pet care from time to time) are also essential parts of the job. We expect our nanny to engage our children in educational and fun activities to aid their development. Schedule * Part-time * Days and hours can be discussed for the right candidate, with some flexibility. Responsibilities * Providing attentive, loving care for our infant and toddler * Planning age-appropriate play and activities * Feeding, diapering, naps, and maintaining routines * Taking the children for walks and outdoor play when appropriate * meal preparation * Children’s laundry * Tidying * Light housekeeping during naps or downtime (loading/unloading dishwasher, kitchen tidying, folding laundry, light vacuuming, general household organization) * Occasional pickups, errands or grocery pickup We’re looking for someone who: * Has experience caring for both infants and toddlers * Is patient, nurturing, energetic, and reliable * Has current Infant/Child CPR and First Aid certification * Can provide a recent Criminal Record Check with Vulnerable Sector Screening * Has excellent references from previous families We are particularly interested in individuals who have CPR certification, ensuring the safety and well-being of our little ones. We offer an hourly rate of $20-$30 depending on various factors including experience, availability etc. If you have experience with infants and primary school children and are comfortable with the outlined responsibilities, we would love to hear from you.
