We are specifically looking for someone experienced in working with primary school-aged children. This is a full-time, live-out position that offers a competitive wage of $22.00 per hour. As a vital part of our family, you will be responsible for managing daily routines, including school pick-ups, homework assistance, and engaging in fun and educational activities. Your role will also involve meal preparation and light housekeeping duties related to the children. Job Tasks • Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents • Perform light housekeeping and cleaning duties. • Travel with family on short trips and assist with child supervision and housekeeping duties. • Bathe, dress and feed the child • Keep the child disciplined according to the methods requested by the parents. • Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development • Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding the child. • Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home. • Organize, activities such as games and outings for the child. • Tend to emotional well-being of the child. • Help child with homework. Schedule • Typically, 5 days per week • Daytime hours (e.g., 10:00 AM – 5:00 PM) • Some flexibility required for occasional evenings and weekends Position Requirements • Secondary school completion (high school diploma) • Minimum one year of full-time childcare experience with infants • Criminal record check required • Must maintain a smoke free environment in the home • Physically able to lift up to 30 lbs. Language English Additional Conditions • Must be reliable, punctual, and attentive • Respect for family privacy is required (including no sharing of child’s information or photos publicly) • Must not work while ill and must communicate health concerns promptly
