Nanny Job in Calgary, Alberta

Hello, I’m a father in Calgary looking for a warm, reliable and experienced nanny to help care for my young daughter when she is with me in Calgary. The schedule is a little different from a typical part-time nanny position. Initially, I expect to need childcare for approximately one week every six weeks. The schedule will be set and known well in advance, and I anticipate that the duration of care required during each six-week cycle will gradually increase over time. I’m hoping to find someone interested in an ongoing arrangement who can become a familiar and consistent caregiver for my daughter as the amount of time she spends with me in Calgary grows. During those weeks, I would primarily need childcare during my working hours. My daughter will be a toddler when the arrangement begins, so experience caring for young children is important. Responsibilities would primarily include caring for her, preparing meals and snacks, playing with her and planning age-appropriate activities, and helping maintain her regular meal, nap and daily routines. I also have a friendly dog, so being comfortable around dogs is important. I’m open to either a live-out arrangement or potentially a live-in arrangement during the weeks care is required, depending on what works best for the right person. I’m offering $30 per hour and am happy to discuss the anticipated schedule, hours and how the position may expand over time.
