Nanny Job in Calgary, Alberta

Hi! We are a warm and welcoming family based in Calgary looking for a caring, reliable, and experienced part-time nanny to become an important part of our family as our son, Christian, grows. Christian is a happy, curious, and smiley 6-month-old who loves interaction, playtime, and exploring the world around him. We're looking for someone who genuinely enjoys working with infants and will provide him with a safe, loving, and engaging environment. I work from home, so while I'll often be in the house, my days are filled with client calls, meetings, and appointments. I'm looking for someone who can confidently take the lead with Christian while I'm working—playing with him, reading books, feeding him, changing diapers, putting him down for naps, and encouraging age-appropriate learning and development. During Christian's naps or quieter moments, we'd also appreciate some help with light housekeeping to keep our home running smoothly. This could include tidying toys, washing bottles, children's laundry, loading or unloading the dishwasher, wiping kitchen counters, light vacuuming, and helping keep the home organized. We're ideally looking for someone 2–3 days per week, with typical hours of 10:00 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. While those are our ideal hours, we're happy to discuss some flexibility for the right person. Most importantly, we're hoping to build a long-term relationship with someone who will grow alongside our family. We would love to find someone who becomes a familiar, trusted, and caring presence in Christian's life over the years. The ideal candidate will be: • Experienced caring for infants. • Warm, patient, dependable, and proactive. • Comfortable working in a home where a parent works remotely. • CPR and First Aid certified (or willing to obtain certification). • Someone who truly loves helping children learn, play, and thrive. As finding the right fit for our family is very important to us, reference checks WILL be required, and we will be contacting previous families or employers before making a decision. A criminal record check and vulnerable sector check will be required. References will be verified. CPR/First Aid certification is expected.
