Nanny Job in Mississauga, Ontario

We are a young family in central Mississauga, ON (Eglinton/Creditview) seeking the services of a reliable and nurturing nanny & mother-helper. The role will initially consist of providing day time care for our youngest daughter (16 months) until she is able to join our older daughter’s (3 years old) Montessori this upcoming September 2024. Once our younger daughter is in Montessori, this role will evolve more into a mother-helper primarily assisting the mother who works remotely from home. The activities and tasks, which will be discussed and determined in advance, will include some cleaning, organizing, laundry, grocery pick-up, and meal-preparation. There will likely also be some occasional ad-hoc childcare involved, but the role will primarily be a mother-helper in September 2024. The ideal candidate will have previous experience caring for infants and young children, is skilled at cooking/baking, has access to a vehicle, is proactive, and can pivot from childcare to mother-helper. This is a live-out position and family intends to offer a competitive hourly wage. The role may be part-time or full-time depending on the work schedule we develop, the estimated time required to complete pre-determined activities and tasks, and availability of the ideal candidate. For now, we estimate needing 25-30 hours per week. Our children are young and mom is a working professional with a demanding schedule.
