Delta/Tsawwassen child care provider (in family’s home) Hi there! Seeking a part time (before and after school) child care provider to provide child care to a 5 year old boy in the Delta/Tsawassen area. The hours would be 7:30am-9:00am and then 3:00pm-5:30pm. This position would become full time in the summer months when kiddo is out of school so full time availability from end of June to beginning of September is a must. The successful applicant would need to: - have their own reliable transportation, drivers license, and clean drivers abstract -plenty of experience (that can be verified by references) supporting a child with FASD and ADHD who exhibits challenging and sometimes aggressive behaviour. -have full time availability in the summer months once kiddo is out of school -provide a clean criminal record check -be comfortable with dogs Duties with this position would include: -transporting kiddo to/from school -competently providing positive behavioural support for kiddo when he is exhibiting challenging or aggressive behaviours -light housekeeping (mainly just picking up after kiddo) If interested, please send an email to [email protected] outlining your experience working with children, confirmation that you meet the requirements outlined in the posting, as well as your salary expectations.
