Nanny Job in Toronto, Ontario

Our family in Toronto, Ontario is seeking a responsible and reliable nanny on a live-out, part-time basis from April/May until the end of August. If you are passionate about providing a safe and stimulating environment for children and are available to work during the summer, we would love to hear from you. We are looking for support to care primarily for our infant (who will be one year old in May) 3 weekdays per week during the day, from approximately 8:30 to 4; we are open to discussion on which days would work, and are also happy to discuss start and stop times. We would also love to build a relationship with someone and be able to reach out for an occasional weeknight or weekend evening if available even after the summer (this is not a necessity). We do have an older child who attends preschool who may be around occasionally but generally has her own care setup. We're located in the East End of Toronto, close to both the Go Train and the TTC (subway), and do not require someone to drive our child anywhere. The ideal candidate will have a genuine love for working with children and possess strong communication and organizational skills. As our nanny, you will be responsible for engaging our infant in age-appropriate activities, maintaining their safety, doing light meal prep, light playroom tidying, and providing attentive care during your hours with us. This role is part-time, offering an hourly rate of $25.00. We love our baby, and want her to be cared for while her mom starts to pick up some work this spring/summer!
