Nanny Job in Abbotsford, British Columbia

Hello! We are a warm and welcoming family based in Abbotsford, British Columbia, seeking a dedicated and caring nanny to join us. We have four children, but only two that will require regular nanny care. Our one year old and seven year old require someone with experience and a genuine passion for childcare. The position is part time for the summer months moving to full-time in September, ensuring you can immerse yourself fully in nurturing and supporting our little ones. During the school year, our children participate in online learning, meaning they attend classes two days per week and then do the rest of their school work at home, so this position would included helping our 7 year old with his school work some days. Our two older children may require assistance getting to and from school or the occasional appointment, but they are teenagers and largely independent and self motivated with their school work. No housekeeping required except ensuring the children clean up their own messes! Meal prep for breakfast, lunch, and snacks required, but no dinner prep needed. Our preference is for a live-out arrangement, which provides flexibility and convenience for the right candidate. We value someone who is reliable, enthusiastic, and capable of creating a safe and engaging environment for our children. Dad works from a home office and is available in emergencies only. Hours would be approximately 8am-3:30pm five days per week excluding weekends or stat holidays. The position offers a competitive wage of $20 per hour. Minimum requirements include a valid divers license, reliable transportation, criminal record check, including vulnerable sector check, CPR certification, and references.
