Nanny Job in Kelowna, British Columbia

Hi there! Our names are Matt and Emily and we have a 3 month old daughter named Anya for whom we are looking for a nanny starting Sept 2024 when she is 9 months old (flexible start date)! We are both physicians and have been living in Kelowna for almost the last 2 years. As two full-time shift workers with no regular local family support, we need help taking care of our little one! We are looking for an experienced, full time, live out, long term nanny to help join us in caring for and raising the light of our life. We hope to find someone who is reliable, sociable, passionate, and dedicated to join our family. Although we are searching for full time hours (40 hr/week) we would like to work with someone who is flexible in how these hours are allocated. Some weeks we would need coverage on evenings and weekends and if you could accommodate it, occasionally there may be opportunities for overtime. We would be open to paying for full time hours even if actual worked hours in a certain week are less than 40 hours, given the flexibility this job requires. We would also work to set the schedule at least 1 month in advance so that you could plan your life accordingly. Although the most important task would be to play with, enrich, and take care of Anya, we would also like our nanny to help with the following: • Light housekeeping and laundry • Child meal preparation • Occasional grocery and errands We are looking for someone who has experience with babies and early childhood care, and it would be an asset for our nanny to have a driver’s license and their own transportation. If you speak a second language that is amazing and an asset! The start date would be Sept 1, 2024, although we are flexible for the right candidate. Pay is negotiable but starting salary would be between $20-25/hr based on experience.
