Nanny Job in Edmonton, Alberta

Hello! My name is Jennifer. I am a stay at home mom looking for occasional child care for a few hours either during the day or perhaps during an evening. My husband and I have three children. At this time, the care responsibilities would likely be to focus on our 3 year old and 2 year old, but might include watching our 6 month old for a few minutes at time. I would generally be around while my kids are cared for, unless my husband and I planned to go on an evening date (care would only be for the two older kids) or I needed to run an errand without my older kids. In the summer, I hope to do much gardening at my mom's acreage on the south side of Edmonton. In general, I would like more time to do some canning, meal prep, or tackle some of my to-do list around my house (laundry, cleaning, little projects to fix things or sew, etc.). I would love some help with taking care of my kids for a few hours at a time during the day, either at my house in the Bonnie Doon neighbourhood, or at my mom's acreage on the south side of Edmonton. My children love to play with their toys inside but especially love to be outside. Our family uses electronics/screens as little as possible (almost not at all, we don't have a tv) and our kids enjoy a variety of age appropriate activities inside and outside. My kids also love to help with any aspect of house, kitchen, yard work, etc. I am hoping to get some help for a few hours, once or twice a week. Connecting with one or more nannies/babysitters who would be available to help would be amazing! Having your own transportation would be best. My house in the Bonnie Doon neighbourhood is available by bus or LRT, and then walking a few blocks, however my mom's acreage requires that you drive to it. My mom's acreage has a few outdoor cats. No care is required for the cats, but my kids love to play with them so any care providers should not be allergic to cats. Previous experience with young children/in a babysitting capacity would be an asset. I look forward to hearing from those interested in connecting with our family!
