Nanny Job in Abbotsford, British Columbia

Hi there my name is Sandra. About us: We are a family of four with two daughters aged nine and 12. My 12 year daughter has Down Syndrome and Autism. She is generally a happy child but can act inappropriately with people, throw things, run away and is a flight risk. We would need to make sure she is closely watched and need someone who has the training and/or education to work with her. We would pay $30 an hour plus any expenses incurred. What we're looking for: Ideally, we would like to have someone who lives out but is available to help with some housecleaning, watching our daughters and taking them out for some events and activities. Job Location: we're located in the East part of Abbotsford, not far from the girls' schools Services And Training: We're hoping our mother's helper will help with caring for our girls, taking my special needs daughter to the washroom and making sure she is safe, helping her with appropriate behaviour. I would love for someone to read with my daughters and help keep them on track, for example, helping my daughter (9 year old) with staying on top of her dance practice. Our house is chaotic so it helps if you can help with some cleaning if possible. I work a very demanding job and a Criminal Record check is required. My husband is at home and is on disability for several car accident injuries; so he would be home most times and he can do the driving to appointments. But my daughters are very bored while I work, so any outings to parks or our back yard, fun places would be wonderful for them.
