Nanny Job in Calgary, Alberta

Our wonderful 3 children came into our care in July. Our 15 year old is independent and can get herself to school. We are looking for someone to support us with our 5 year old girl and 12 year old boy before and after school. Responsibilities would be to assist in getting the children ready for school and walking them to the bus stop. After school, our 5 year old needs to be picked up from the bus stop, but the 12 year old can get home independently. After school we need a nanny who can help et a snack, unpack lunch bags, prepare tomorrow's lunch and play with the kids. Some light meal prep MIGHT be required. Hours would be 7am - 9 am, and 3:30-5. We have 2 cats in the house and a friendly, large dog. While we don't require help to look after the animals, we do require you to like them. We are hoping to hire someone as soon as possible! Something to know: our 12 year old is very sweet, but he does have some special needs. He has ADHD, FASD, and a mild intellectual disability. He LOVES new people. Location: We are located in Southeast Calgary, in Douglasdale. You will be responsible for getting yourself to and from our home, which is located about a 6 minute walk from a couple of bus stops. Non-Negotiable: You must not only be comfortable in a lesbian household, but also affirming.
