Nanny Job in Calgary, Alberta

Our fantastic family is looking for a fabulous household manager-nanny on a part-time basis. We are a professional couple who live in a comfortable Willow Park Estates (SE Calgary) home and have two children (ages 12 and 10) who are bright, well-behaved, and fun. We are looking for someone to help our household run smoothly with childcare, meal planning/cooking, laundry, light cleaning, driving the kids to/from school/ activities, and running errands. You'll be able to help plan parties, shop for our family (on your own expense card), and be treated as a member of our family. We encourage and pay for fun activities like hiking, Calaway Park, gardening, and swimming. Perks may include health benefits, paid vacation, and paid travel opportunities. Our ideal candidate will have experience working with children, a driver's license and reliable vehicle, a flexible schedule, and the enthusiasm and skills to be a wonderful household manager-nanny. Bonus points if you speak French and/or play hockey, soccer, rugby, piano or violin. This is a part-time position (between 6 and 18 hours/week) and is perfect for a student or retired person. For the Fall, our key needs are Tuesday, and Thursday afternoons (tentatively 3:30-6:30 pm), as well as some other flexible hours throughout the week. Due to the set-up of our home, we would prefer a live-out nanny, but we do have a beautiful suite for occasional sleepovers. We can be somewhat flexible with our week-day schedule to accommodate your needs, and in return would appreciate occasional evening, overnight, and weekend childcare if possible.
