Nanny Job in Ottawa, Ontario

Bonjour/Hola! We are looking for a creative, compassionate, fun, responsible nanny for two amazing kiddos, ages 1 & 3. We have a silly, fun, bright, almost 3-year old girl who loves chocolate, art, her stuffed animal (mono), dancing, singing, reading books, tracing letters and making crafts, pretending to be an astronaut in space, and all kinds of activities. She speaks French and Spanish fluently. We also have an almost 1-year old smiley little dude who is walking, climbing, babbling, eats like a champ, and loves to be cuddled. They need a reliable, responsible, compassionate, responsive, fun buddy for 5 days per week (usually Mon-Fri 730-330 and rarely outside those hours) who can play with them, engage them in fun, creative learning activities, keep them fed and clean, and put them down for daytime nap. My husband and I are both physicians - we are super diligent about covid precautions (& we are both fully vaccinated) though I will also be working in the home office a lot of the time. What we need: - French or Spanish speaking (our daughter's English is limited to 'Row Row Row your boat' and 'Thank you'!) - Mondays to Fridays 730-330 (or 8-4) usually; some flexibility here - We live by the Pretoria bridge in the Glebe in a bright townhouse with a yard - A responsible nanny who is covid-cautious; we have an immunocompromised family member so we are very careful - Recent CPR/BLS certification ideally; otherwise we can review this together before your first day - ECE is an asset but not necessary; some experience with toddlers of course would be ideal - Non-smoker, no drug /alcohol problems - Non-reliance on public transportation preferred but not 100% necessary - Criminal records check clear - Fun, creative activity ideas - Excellent references - July 5 2021 start date! - Light housekeeping duties We look forward to hearing from you!
