Job Title: Educator / Child Care Provider Education and Background: Elementary School Teacher / ECE Grad with Experience for a family of two children. Endpoints: Priorities in care are safety and health/well being of child and education. Location: in a private nursery located in an office building with outdoor play area. Skills: Child Care Skills: Feed children already prepared meals, dress child when clothes are soiled, apply medications as directed by parents, monitor general health changes and inform accordingly, prepare children for activities appropriately, change diapers for a young child, monitor a child who is toilet trained, assist in maintaining good behaviour and life skills as taught by parents. General Skills: Work independently, able to take direction from superiors, maintain record keeping, be able to work with others who are involved in child\'s care, maintain cleanliness of nursery area including cleaning toys, clean floors, light laundry for children only. Educational Skills: Plan / create and execute in-depth education plans for a child as they age; ability to research new techniques / different methods of education, monitor skills and weaknesses in development. Personal Skills: ability to be consistent and calm with children, communication skills that are appropriate for an office atmosphere, appropriate personal hygiene and attire to a young professional teacher / educator.
