Nanny Job in Edmonton, Alberta

We are interested in finding a live out, full time nanny to care for our two young children in the Westmount neighbourhood in Edmonton from April to July 15th. Successful candidates must be kind, organized and genuinely interested in children. Past experience in child care a plus. Our son will be two years old and our little baby girl will be 4 months old. Our house is a television free home and we are looking for someone who values outdoor/messy play/crafts and creativity over screen time, someone who will be present and engaged with our children. We believe in natural consequences over punishment and are looking for someone who will be both gentle and understanding when our children make mistakes while holding them accountable and guiding them as they find solutions to mend their mistakes/situations and relationships. The right nanny will be on the same team as the parents, all working together and communicating openly about the two children. We live very close to a number of parks and green spaces and have a backyard they can play in and we will happily accommodate the needs of the right candidate in anyway we can. Duties - Caring for our curious little boy and infant girl. - Cooking breakfast and lunch for the children and yourself. - Light cleaning such as tidying dishes from breakfast and lunch, putting toys away, sweeping floor/ wiping surfaces and maybe if there is time a load of laundry if necessary.
