Nanny Job in Winnipeg, Manitoba

We are looking for an early childhood educator (or similar) as a private long term caregiver to our four year old daughter in our home. She is a wonderful, happy, pleasant, and smart young lady who is the center of our universe. We are both busy working professionals, so require someone Monday to Friday 8am - 5pm while we work. We are looking for a truly special person. Our ideal applicant is a gentle and kind educator who will not only provide exemplary long term daytime care for our daughter, but also commit to helping teach and develop her into a curious, intelligent, educated, physically and emotionally strong and healthy young lady. Must have a drivers license and own vehicle as you will attend play groups, lessons, outings, museum, art gallery, zoo etc. We will provide car seat and funding for activities. Other duties include grocery shopping, meal prep, light housekeeping duties including (dishes, laundry, vacuuming), watering our flowers, taking out garbage, various errands (drycleaning etc), crafting gifts for grandparents, event planning, etc. We travel quite often and our caregiver must be willing to travel extensively for both short and longer trips. We provide all travel, accommodation, meals and entertainment budget. Our ideal candidate has a demonstrated passion for teaching and will work with our daughter on her school programs and other activities to help her prepare for and excel in school, sports, and music programs. Our candidate is organized and efficient at keeping up with our busy lifestyle and helping our home run smoothly. Demonstrated skills in children's education, healthy meal planning and prep, social schedule planning, event planning, etc are assets. Our current caregiver is simply exceptional but has been accepted into her dream education program in the fall. She will be available for orientation and/or to provide a reference for our family about the position. As an employer we offer our caregiver consistent full time income, paid weekly via direct deposit.
