JOB DESCRIPTION: Mandarin AND English speaking Nanny to teach mandarin and other disciplines to our single child, as well as care for him and the household in a loving and nurturing framework. As an employee, the successful candidate will be provided training in leading educational and childcare strategies. ABOUT US: Our family of three, (two parents and one child), are fun-loving, active and hard-working. My husband works in aviation as a pilot, and I am a retired pilot, who will be attending nursing school in September. We believe in making learning fun and also believe that having a healthy balance in life is key to happiness and success. Kindness, understanding and compassion is how we raise our child, and hope to find a nanny that believes in the same. Cuddles, hugs, lots of love and positive reinforcement are always available to our child. As it is important for our child to learn Mandarin, we wish to hire a nanny who can play and speak the language to our son. We have friends in Yellowknife who are Mandarin-speaking Chinese, and there is also a very large multicultural population up here of all cultures. Filipino is a very large and growing population in Yellowknife. Our family is mixed European decent but we have all been born in Canada, so we are indeed Canadian.
