Nanny in Edmonton, Alberta

Hi, my name is Sarah! I am looking to join a special family as a long-term, full-time, live-out nanny! This past year I worked in a nanny share with two families but unfortunately they are moving on :( Previous to that I spent several years working in a behavioural consultant capacity for the Government of Alberta, but after the birth of my daughter in August 2016 I decided to go back to my real passion-childcare! I have been a nanny in previous years, and have also worked in daycares, schools and in home with children with developmental disabilities. I am energetic, creative, patient and happiest when getting to spend my days with children! I have a Bachelor's Degree in Applied Psychology, CPR, criminal and vulnerable sector checks, as well as a clean driver's abstract. I also have a Level 2 Early Childhood certificate. I have studied the Floortime/Greenspan approach and believe that play is the key to learning for children. I have my own transportation to get to and from your home. I live in the Windermere area in SW Edmonton. I am looking for a position with a family who would be open to me bringing my daughter along with me from Monday to Thursday. She is 2 years old and has been coming to work with me for the past year. I am pretty flexible and really willing to work out something that will work for both our families!
