It\'s always hard to say something that makes you stand out...at least for me it is. All I can say truly is, I\'m really great with children, I love teaching them, and even learning from them. Having fun, while at the same time, keeping them safe and sound. It\'s what I\'m best at. I have taken care of children most of my life,. For the last 6 years I have taken care of two little girls, from bottle feedings to formula, diapers to pull ups. Potty training to getting them to school,. The position entailed housekeeping, cleaning of the kitchen area, sweeping of floors, and general tidying up. For 11 years before that I took care of one child,since she was approximately 1, and up until she was around 12...a long time ! It entailed getting her out of bed, dressed, making sure she had breakfast, helped her with homework, and got her off to school. I've also performed housekeeping duties such as, vacuuming, sweeping, dishes, laundry, cleaning of bathrooms, and pet care, ie walking, brushing and feeding. I have also worked with a child with asthma, having to give her medicine along with asthma masks, she had terrible breathing, had to watch her constantly. As for a little info about myself, I'm married, in my 40's and live in Peterborough. Very reliable, trustworthy, and have a positive outlook on life. It's not just a nanny job, or a housekeeping job to me...it's becoming part of an "extended family" almost. I care for the children as if they were my own, and take pride in making sure any housekeeping duties are done properly :)
