Studying early childhood care and education for 4 years led me to a lot of different settings for work placements. worked in a creche/daycare for two years caring for up to ten 2-3 year olds. duties included: communicating with parents, helping children settle each morning, helping children to feed themselves/encouraging them, planning activities for children, giving praise to each child, toileting/nappy changing, ensuring each child had enough rest at nap time, generally keeping children happy and safe along with keeping parents happy.
