Hello there! My name is Katie. I am a 25 year old Irish woman over on a two year working visa. I am hoping to find children who I can mind and teach to show me how amazing the people and the country is! I have a Bachelor of Arts Honours Degree in Early Childhood Education and Care and have three years teaching experience teaching in a special needs school back in Ireland. Other experience includes working as a teaching assistant in an Educate Together curriculum based school. The curriculum in both settings has shown me many beneficial methods to teaching and hopefully these can be passed onto your children. I am a child educator who wishes to utilize my experience Monday to Friday. I am a trustworthy, kind, calm reliable person who truly cares for the overall development and well being of the child. I have a lot of experience with facilitating educational activities and teaching age appropriate subjects. I plan on creating many changes for different activities such as walks or trips to different places. I am comfortable working around sick children and have no issues in following house schedules and preparing snack times for the children. I can do small clean up jobs and have no issues facilitating play dates or any educational trips My location: I am located just 5 minutes from Commercial Broadway, Vancouver, next to both a bus stop and sky train which makes travel no problem.
