Job Description: Hi there, we are searching for a nanny to look after our two children (ages 7 and 10) in Burlington, Ontario. Our hours are flexible. We are looking for a responsible, caring individual with at least one year of experience looking after children. Skills: Well organized, takes initiative, reliable and flexible, with excellent interpersonal and communication skills, proficient in written and spoken English Duties: Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home. Take children to and from school and to appointments. Assistance with bathing, dressing and feeding children. Discipline children according to the methods requested by the parents. Keep records of daily activities and health information regarding children as appropriate. Instruct children in personal hygiene and social development. Organize activities such as games and outings for children. Prepare and serve nutritious meals. Supervise and care for children. Tend to emotional well-being of children. Help children with homework Additional duties: Assume full responsibility for household in absence of parents, Perform light housekeeping, cleaning and food preparation duties.
