Hi there,

My name is Tara Murphy and I'm a 27 year old female student. I want to be a coast guard paramedic, so I've been a nanny and a bartender for the past 8 years so I can pay for my school and training.

I also did a co-op program in high school spending half my school day at an elementary school assisting in the grade 1 classroom. I've also done volunteer work for The Wye Marsh environmental centre, where I took children on guided tours of the marsh in the summer. I also did 'wet 'n scaly' educational programs for children, where I would teach them about reptiles and amphibians.

You should choose me over other candidates because I care about your children. I'll take them outside to get fresh air, play games with them and keep them happy and entertained. I don't just watch over them. I interact with them and encourage learning. I'll also clean up after them and make them meals. If there's other things needed I always love to help! If you need me to get groceries before I come, do the laundry, help kids with homework or anything. I'm always happy to help. I have my licence and I'm working on getting a vehicle. But I can always walk to go pick your kids up from school, take them to an appointment or whatever is needed.

I have alot of training and knowledge in the medical field. I took the Specialist High Skills Major for Health and Wellness, and because of this I have obtained the highest level of CPR. It's First Aid and CPR training level C, so I'm trained with AED and Defibrillator. I'm trained on resuscitation and the Heimlich maneuver for all ages including newborns, and up to a full grown adults. I also have my bandage compression and disease prevention certificates.
