Nanny Job in Surrey, British Columbia

We are currently looking for a caregiver to take care of our one year old daughter in our private home. JOB DUTIES INCLUDE: -Supervise and care for child in absence of parents allowing for healthy social and physical development of child -Bathe, dress and prepare food according to parents specific guidelines -Change Diapers and assist with potty training as needed -Oversee child's activities such as meal time and rest periods -Organize and participate in activities such as outings to provide amusement and exercise for child -Play games and read stories to child as per parents instructions to help with development -Report any unusual behavior of child to parents immediately -Help with child's laundry -May perform other light housekeeping duties as assigned by Employer REQUIREMENTS: Successful candidate must have at least a Secondary school completion and minimum 1 year work experience working in a private home setting. Caregiver training is an asset but not mandatory. Must be able to communicate (written and oral) in English. Must be willing to commit to a 2 year work contract. COMPENSATION: Hourly wage is $11/hour for 40 hours per week. We will offer 2 weeks paid holidays. As both parents work and may need to work overtime on occasion, we would require a worker who would be willing to stay later or come in early if needed and over time would be paid accordingly. Relocation costs, if applicable, will be paid by employer. Accommodation is also available for the successful candidate and will be provided at no charge should the successful candidate choose to live in our home.
