Child caregiver needed. We are a family of 3., looking for a caring, kindly-hearted, reliable and experienced caregiver- Ideally prefer live-in; however, we also open for the live-out option. In regards with live-in option, we are willing to accommodate the cost of living expense. Our child is now 11 months old. Our priority is to care for our child, but there will be some light housekeeping and laundry duties involved as time permitted. We are in need of someone who can work flexible hours, accommodate our needs to care for our child and willing to work on a weekend basis as well. The work position is full-time permanent location : Main Street, Corner Brook, NL, A2H 1C5 . Requirements : Education: Secondary (high) school graduation certificate or equivalent experience Experience; Ideally experience with baby and toddler or willing be trained Certificate/s : First Aid Certificate; CPR Certificate; or Red Cross babysitting certificate Work Setting: Employer's home; Optional accommodation available at no charge on a live-in basis. Note: This is NOT a condition of employment Duties : Able to work flexible hours/ Shifts/ Holidays and weekends; Tend to emotional well-being of a child; Supervise and care ; Sterilize bottles, prepare formulas and change diapers; Prepare and serve nutritious meals; Organize, activities such as games and age-appropriate outings ; Maintain a safe and healthy environment in the home; Instruct a child in personal hygiene and social development; Discipline according to the methods requested by the parents; Bathe, dress, read to a child and feed ; Prepare a child for rest periods.
