I think the things that make me stand out include my exceptional patience and ability to think on my feet. Life can be tricky and our best laid plans don't always work out so its a good idea to have a plan B at all times (heck even a plan C). I really enjoy being with children when they are hitting their big milestones and developing strong relationships. Im hoping to find a family that isn't just looking for an employee but a member of their family as well. I always treat all the kids I work with with the love and respect that I would give my own children :-) I have been looking after children for four years now. I have worked with kids ages 6 month-15 years both special needs and typical. I have also spent the last summer looking after my friends dayhome while she travelled in B.C where I was looking after up to 5 children at a time.
