I run a day home in the south end of Calgary and currently have 1 Full Time Space & 2 Part Time Spaces Available in January 2013! My day home is a loving family-based day home where every child is safe, secure, accepted, appreciated and LOVED. My hope is to provide children with healthy experiences and interactions and also to stimulate, encourage and guide them in their growth, discovery and in celebrating life in wonderful ways. Each day will be filled with a variety of activities and adventures all centered on weekly themes such as camping, colours, Old Macdonald\'s Farm and insects, sports, the zoo, the beach and grandparents . I would love nothing more than to encourage your child to be a great friend with incredible manners. I include a number of very exciting events to our year including all of the holiday celebrations (i.e. St Patricks Day, Christmas, Easter, Halloween etc) and also Pajama-Day, Picture Day, Drive-In Movie Day, Teddy-Bear Picnic, Crayon Grand-Prix and of course very big Birthday celebrations. I am a mother to an incredible 9 month old baby boy and prior to taking maternity leave to care for him I was a nanny to two families. I cared for a baby girl from the time she was 13 weeks old and also two young girls aged 6-8. I am also a 2nd generation day home provider as I was raised in the day home my mother ran for over 30 years right here in Millrise. I have current CPR, First Aid & Police Check and references.
